Working Principle
The High Intensity Plate Magnetic Separator works on the principle of magnetic attraction. How it Works
the High Intensity Plate Magnetic Separator works:
Step 1: Material Feeding
The material to be separated is fed onto a conveyor belt or a vibratory feeder.
Step 2: Magnetic Field Generation
The High Intensity Plate Magnetic Separator generates a high-intensity magnetic field, which is directed towards the material being fed.
Step 3: Ferrous Material Attraction
As the material passes over the magnetic plate, the ferrous materials (such as iron, steel, and nickel) are attracted to the magnetic field and are held onto the plate.
Step 4: Non-Ferrous Material Separation
The non-ferrous materials (such as aluminum, copper, and plastics) are not affected by the magnetic field and continue to move along the conveyor belt or vibratory feeder.
Step 5: Ferrous Material Removal
The ferrous materials that are attracted to the magnetic plate are removed from the plate by a self-cleaning mechanism, which ensures that the plate remains clean and free of debris.
Step 6: Clean Material Discharge
The clean material (non-ferrous) is discharged from the separator, while the ferrous materials are collected separately.
